"Unless you're Bill Gates, you're
just one serious illness away from bankruptcy," said
Dr. David Himmelstein, in the February 2, 2005 New York Times. "Most
of the medically bankrupt were average Americans who happened
to get sick."

Joe
Walter -
Joe, his wife Kate, and their two children, Elizabeth (6) and
Benjamin (3), reside in Beloit, KS. He graduated from Bethany
College, Lindsborg, Kansas in 1986 with a double major in Business/Political
Science-History. Following employment with the Federal Reserve
Bank of Kansas City and Bruce Hardwood Floors in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, Joe began his career in the insurance industry. From
1989 until the summer of 2004, his sole work-related focus was
marketing supplemental cancer and heart/stroke insurance on an
individual basis throughout the Midwest. At that point, they
moved back to their hometown, Beloit, in order to provide
the small town,
church oriented rural environment for their family. Coinciding
with this geographical move, he embarked upon a career path change,
at least to some degree, targeting two specific industry niches
– the rapidly evolving critical care/critical illness arena and
collaborating efforts with a team of proactive cost managers,
ECCHIC, in the group medical services world.
Michael Miller -
Michael is a native of Wakefield, Kansas. Following his
graduation from high school and Vocational Technical School, he
spent sixteen years providing mechanical and supervisory capacities
for a civilian maintenance contractor at the Fort Riley Army base
near Junction City, Kansas. A rather distinct shift in his career
path occurred in 2000 when he began working in the insurance industry,
marketing individual and group cancer and heart supplemental insurance
in the states of Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Following his five-year
focus of specialty in this niche, Mike joined Creative Insurance
Strategies. Mike and his wife, Shelly, have two children and live
on a farm in rural Clay County, Kansas.
Robert Sweat -
Robert grew up on a farm and graduated from schools and
college in the north central part of Kansas. In 1985 Robert began
a career with a farm-equipment dealership as a salesperson for
16 years. In 2001, he began marketing supplemental insurance
products. Robert joined the team of Creative Insurance Strategies
in the fall of 2005. Robert’s rural Kansas background brings
strong ethical and moral values to his business and personal
life. Robert has three children, Chelsea, Chynna and Chancelor
and lives in Cawker City, Kansas, home of the “World’s Largest
Ball of Twine.”
Brenda Budke -
Brenda has worked as an Office Assistant at Creative Insurance
Strategies since January, 2005. Prior to that she established a
30 year track record of loyalty and commitment at a full-service
banking institution in Beloit. In Brenda’s 30 years at the bank,
she worked in most departments. She was an officer and served on
the Board of Directors at the bank for several years. Brenda and
her husband, Rodger live in Beloit and have two daughters and a
granddaughter.
